I gave this push toy to my son when was 6 months old. Of course, he wasn't walking then so he couldn't push it. But he would squeal and laugh when I pushed the dragon and made all the balls jingle and jangle. At first, I was worried that the balls might fall off because he was putting everything in his mouth at that time. But this toy is so well made that I had nothing to worry about. For all the chewing and gnawing that my son did, not one bit of paint has come off and the toy still looks practically new. When my baby started crawling, he would push the toy while crawling. It took him some time to figure out how to balance the dragon so that he could push it so that the dragon didn't topple over to the side, but that's why this is such a well designed toy. It requires babies to think about how they need to use their bodies to get the toy to work properly. At 11 months, this is the only toy my son will play with for more than 5 minutes at a time. He still loves pushing the dragon as he crawls, but he also loves pushing the dragon up the walls, on top of chairs, and even across my leg. One great thing about this toy is that the dragon's head moves back and forth and the balls jingle and jangle no matter what direction the toy is pushed. There is nothing I would change about this toy. It has proven to be the best toy I have purchased for my son and he never fails to get enjoyment from it.

We purchased this toy for my daughter for her first birthday. It was by far her favorite gift, she loves the bells and when the dragon gets going and his head flops around she just laughs and laughs. My 2 1/2 year old son is just as taken with it as she is. This is the only toy we have that they both want to play with- all the time!

My 11-month old is only tummy-scooting right now. But I still bought him this wonderfully-made push toy, and he loves it. He watches fascinated as others push it, and he even tries to push it in front of him when he's moving on his tummy! I am definitely going to get my money's worth on this toy! Fun, bright, and jingly--what a great combination!

This push toy is not only SAFE, but also has 2nd to none construction. I disagree with some of the earlier reviews. a. This toy is safe; this style of push toy has been around for decades, if not centuries. A child could hurt them selves with a bar soap if allowed to throw, and swinging it around. b. Secondly, this toy does have a learning curve (especially for a 12 month old). Toys that requiring a toddler to think is what makes a toy good IMHO. The massive amounts of fun they will have after taming this little dragon is well worth the effort!
