The good people at Green Toys have crafted this tea set out of 100% curbside collected, recycled plastic! This set consists of 17 pieces, including: 1 pink teapot with purple lid, 1 purple sugar bowl with lid, 4 green saucers, 4 yellow teaspoons, 1 blue creamer and 4 blue teacups. We love the soft colors and durable (nearly unbreakable) structure of the set, for truly serious play. It is vastly important that we keep both our children and our planet happy. Green Toys designs and produces all of their toys directly out of California, USA. Every part of the toy making process is done with consideration for the environment, in the materials they use, and the process by which they produce and distribute their toys. All Green Toys are derived from recycled milk jugs, then reprocessed into new, harder plastic (HDPE, considered one of the safest, cleanest plastics around). The packaging for Green Toys is extremely minimalist; no plastic film, styrofoam or twist ties are used, only 100% recyclable, corrugated cardboard.
