Customer Questions
Milanie Cleere
HI! My name is Milanie Cleere and I’m the CEO of Oompa Toys. Today is Thursday, August 21st, 2008.
Erica wrote to us and she is concerned about the safety of the Jellycat Bunglies. She is concerned about the eyes coming out. Erica, I can assure you that we haven’t received any word of the eyes coming out of any of the Jellycat products. And the manufacturer has assured us of the same thing. So, please feel free to give it to your child to play with. However, as with any toy, it is important to check it periodically for any safety hazards.
Susan Kim wrote to us. She said that most of the orders she has placed in the past have been gifts and she was wondering if we include a gift receipt. Susan, we actually don’t. What we include is something that we call a return and exchange form and on the form we show the items ordered and the quantity. However, no prices. Susan, your gift recipient will know how to return or exchange an item, but they actually won’t see how much you paid for the order.
Mary Beth Murphy wrote to us and she would like to know if the Latitude Enfant Grannimals still come packaged in those adorable red shoe boxes. Mary Beth they actually do but because of a few technical problems on our website, those images were removed. However, we are in the process of putting those images back.
Katherine Landmeyer wrote to us and she would like to know if loyalty points expire. Katherine, I’m happy to say that they don’t expire. So feel free to take a hiatus from shopping and come back in 6 months, a year 2 years and login to your account and your points should still actually be there.
Oompa Highlights Back to School
It is back to school season for pre-schoolers and school age children. To make your shopping just a little bit easier, we’ve created our back to school category. In this category we’ve included the highlights of what we feel are the best of our back to school collection. We have art and writing supplies, early learning, room décor, bags, backpacks and lunchboxes. We’ve received some questions about how we went about classifying our backpacks. What we did was, we looked at our entire collection and for the smaller bags we assigned those to pre-school aged children because they typically bring a lunch to school, maybe a small pillow and they bring home small arts and crafts, usually. So we thought the smaller bags were appropriate for pre-school aged children. For kindergarteners and first-graders, they usually have to bring a lunch and folders that can hold an 8 ½ by 11 inch paper. So we assigned the larger bags to our kindergarteners and first-grade category. To view our entire back to school collection, visit Oompa.com and click on the back to school link in the upper left hand navigation. Thanks for watching.
