Lane from New York wrote to us and she said that she lost pieces of her Haba Zack Tap and she's wondering if we can send replacement parts. Unfortunately Lane, we don't send replacement parts to toys. What we generally do is refer you to the manufacturer, and they can then send you the replacement parts. We offer things as a complete set, and we don't break things up to send replacement parts.

Deena from Madison, Wisconsin talked to me yesterday, and she's wondering when the store would open. Deena, funny you should ask! Actually it's moving along very nicely, the floors are being done, we're ready to paint, and the fixtures should be arriving any day, so within the next two or three weeks, I should be announcing the firm grand opening date. So until then, stay tuned.

Oompa Highlights: Plan Toys

Plan Toys is one of my favorite manufacturers because they are almost entirely green. Their toys are made under fair labor, fair trade conditions. They use the super-eco-friendly substance of rubber wood for their toys, and the inks they use are water and soy based. We've received so many questions about when we'll get their new kitchen toys in stock, and I’m happy to say that they've arrived. Plan Toys have come out with a new kitchen stove, a kitchen center in mauve or pink, a dishwasher set, and a washing machine. And again, these are all sized for a preschool-aged child.
