Hello! My name is Milanie Cleere and I'm the CEO of Oompa Toys. Today is Wednesday, November 18th, 2008. We decided to get out of the warehouse and out of the retail store and we are enjoying one of the last few fall days here in Wisconsin. The holidays are almost here and to make your shopping just a little bit easier, we have created the Holiday Gift Guide where we have highlighted our top picks for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. For babies, our top pick was a toss up between two Haba playmats. One is the Dream Meadow play mat and the second is the Spring Time play gym both are from Haba and both would make great gifts for babies. Our top pick for toddlers is hands down the Oompa Toys Walker Wagon which is also by Haba, it was designed by us but made at Haba in Germany. And our top pick for preschoolers hands down are the Cheekeyes building blocks.

Dante Beatrix is a product company that is based out of New York. The company was founded by Dante Powell who has created best selling products for Martha Stewart. She has two pieces of art that are a permanent part of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and she has a Master's Degree in Product Design from Stanford. They make products that are functional, well made and have a really quirky charm. They mix wonder and humor with a modern sensibility that we really love at Oompa Toys.
