This Mini Race Car is a fun alternative to the die cast, metal cars available at many retail outlets. We love the almost abstract quality of the driver's "head", ultra modern design, and high lacquer finish. The 'head' color may vary. The shiny hubcaps are an especially nice touch. Vilac's Mini Race Car is perfectly sized for toddlers and preschoolers and makes a wonderful birthday present!

The car's body is made of solid wood and finished with completely non-toxic, child-friendly substances. Wipe with dry or slightly damp cloth to clean. Dry right away. Lovingly designed and finely crafted in France by Vilac. Vilac has been crafting wooden toys in the forests near Champagnole, France for over 80 years.

This is a great little blue race car - the wheels are rubbery and stick out from the body, and the body is sturdy wood with bright blue and white paint. It's nice size for little hands, and the wheels won't scratch floors or furniture.

Sleek and fast wooden little car, modern but with a vintage feel! I love these, I bought two. They are not to big and chunky (so older kids wont think they are "baby toys") but still big enough for smaller hands. My husband even likes to roll them around, and usually he is a die-hard hotwheels only fan. :-)

Great little retro race car! [222 OF 453 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
Vilac from France has made some winner little cars here. Die cast cars are okay when boys are older, but when they are little, these super smooth and high gloss shiny race cars are much better. My son, who is 7, gave his stuffed animals a birthday party this summer, and his teddy received this blue car and the red race car for gifts. Teddy loved them, and my son does too! He has rolled them around on the floor, made them zoom up ramps to watch them crash down, etc. I am impressed with the durability of the paint...after quite a few "wrecks", our 2 cars have no dings or chips in the paint; they are perfectly fine and look new. The cars are nice looking to sit on the shelf as a room decoration when not in use. I am really really pleased with these little cars. I am sure your little boy will be pleased with them too.
