This Mini Race Car is a fun alternative to the die cast, metal cars available at many retail outlets. We love the almost abstract quality of the driver's "head", ultra modern design, and high lacquer finish. The shiny hubcaps are an especially nice touch. Vilac's Mini Race Car is perfectly sized for toddlers and preschoolers and makes a wonderful birthday present!

The car's body is made of solid wood and finished with completely non-toxic, child-friendly substances. Wipe with dry or slightly damp cloth to clean. Dry right away. Lovingly designed and finely crafted in France by Vilac. Vilac has been crafting wooden toys in the forests near Champagnole, France for over 80 years.

My 1 1/2yo son loves this car. It's perfect to keep in the diaper bag because it's small. We use it all the time in restaurants and when traveling to keep him entertained. The color is beautiful and he likes the "guy" in the car.

I have been collecting little red toy race cars for my son - nothing obsessive, just here and there as I see them - and this has been a hands-down favorite. It is just the right size and weight for a little one (he is 14 months). He has loved to hold it and inspect it since he was an infant, and now he is really enjoying pushing it around. Plus, it is so cute that I must admit it is my favorite from his little collection. Perfect for tiny hands, and incredibly cute to boot.

The paint finish on this toy is superb! My son played with it on cement and it still looks brand new. Durable enough to play with, but quality enough to keep for the next generation.
