Will Be Enjoyed for Years

My daughter received this set last Christmas at almost 6 months old. At that time, the donuts were nice and soft and a good size for her to pick up, examine, and feel. Now that she's 16 months and already beginning some imitation and pretend play, I think they will continue to be great as part of kitchen play. I plan to get her more of the knitted items for the softness and nice texture; they even look a bit realistic! The one drawback is that after just a month or so of not-too-heavy play, the ribbons began to detach from the gingham bin. That's easily fixed, though.

My son received these for Christmas from his grandparents and he absolutely loves them! They are so cute and soft and he loves to put them in and take them out of their basket. He also loves playing "restaurant" with them and serves them on plates to anyone who will take them. The donut assortment is a great and entertaining toy!

I ordered these for my daughter to have in her play kitchen. They are very realistic and look delicious! A nice alternative to anything plastic and a great compliment to a lot of the wood toys.
