BAJO was founded in 1993 by Wojciech Bajor, a sculptor and architect. In cooperation with Polish and German friends, he formed a group committed to seeking new ideas. The company now has hundreds designs for wooden toys for children of various ages. Those include Wooden Infant Toys, Wooden Lacing Toys, Wooden Educational Toys, and furniture.
