Company History
Founded in 1831, Sevi is one of the world's oldest makers of wooden toys. From the very
beginning, Sevi has been strongly influenced by the international community. Sevi first began making toys in the
northern Ortesei region of Italy, close to the German, Austrian, French and Swiss borders. With all of these cultures so
close by, an intermingling of design and forms was inevitable. Sevi products today are a refinement of many years of
experience in design and manufacturing; every product, whether a simple rattling ball or an intricate music box is the
culmination of over 150 years of toy production.
Meeting the Standards of Today
Today, Sevi creates cloth and wooden toys, as well as an assortment of room
décor and fun accessories for young children and infants. Colors used are vibrant and lively, while forms are simple,
yet sprinkled with intriguing details to inspire interest and exploration. All Sevi products are tested and conform to
the safety standards on the European Union as well as the United States.
