The Oompa Toys Wishlist feature allows you to create unlimited private and public wishlists. Your first wishlist is created for you when you become a registered user. It is called "My Default Wishlist."

"My Default Wishlist" Your Private Wishlist

Your first wishlist was created the moment you became a registered user. It is called "My Default Wishlist". "My Default Wishlist" is the first list to appear when you login to your account and click on the "View My Wishlists" link from the account administration pages. This wishlist is for your personal use and cannot be made public or searchable.

To add products to your private wishlist, browse through the Oompa Toys web site and click the "Add To Wishlist" link or button that appears near the product name or description. A pop-up confirmation will appear to let you know the item has been added. Repeat as often as you like. There is no limit to the number of items that can be in a wishlist.

Creating A Public, Sharable Wishlist/Gift Registry

It is also possible to create wishlists that can be shared with friends and family. These public and searchable wishlists are useful for baby showers, birthdays and holidays. Your friends and family can find your wishlist by searching by your first or last name. To make gift giving easy, your friends and family do not need to know your shipping address. Our system remembers it. For your protection a portion of your shipping address is blocked from public view. To create a public and searchable wishlist, follow these easy steps:

First, you need to create a new wishlist. Follow these steps:

• Become a registered Oompa user.
• Log into your account
• Click on the "Wishlist" link in the upper right navigation. This link is located just under the "Search by Keyword or SKU" box.
• Click on "CREATE NEW LIST." Enter the name of your new wishlist and click submit.
• A pop-up confirmation box will appear to let you know the list has been successfully added.

Next, add items to your new wishlist.

• Browse through the Oompa Toys web site.
• When you see an item you'd like to add to your wishlist, click the "Add To Wishlist" button or link that appears near the product name or description.
• Continue this process until you've select all the products you'd like to add to your wishlist.

Next, populate your new wishlist!

• Click on the "Wishlist" link again.
• You'll see that the products you selected to add to your wishlist have been added to your private wishlist, or "My Default Wishlist".
• Next to each item there is a dropdown menu containing your wishlist names. This dropdown menu appears next to the text "This item belongs to:" To move a product from "My Default Wishlist" to your new wishlist, simply select the new wishlist name from the drop down menu.
• The page will refresh with the contents of your new wishlist.
• Continue moving products from My Default Wishlist to your new wishlist until your new wishlist is populated with the products you'd like to share with friends and family!

Finally, the last step, double check your wishlist and make it public!

• You're almost done!
• It's now time to select the shipping address to where your gifts should be sent.
• Your options appear next to the "Shipping Address" text. The default shipping address is the Billing address entered when you became a registered user.
• Next, check the box next to "Public Wishlist".
• Finally, click the "Save Group" button to make your wishlist public and searchable!
• Your friends and family will be able to find your wishlist by entering your first or last name!
