Each piece in this set is gorgeous--so delicate and perfect. The pieces are small, but perfect for toddlers. A refreshing change from cheap plastic food-I don't have to worry about these passing on toxins to my daughter while she's playing. A+++

This was our first purchase of Haba food. We purchased 2 because it's a great value compared to purchasing the items single. Cute basket can be used for "shopping." This is a great variety pack and my kids love it. I love that it is not made in china.

Upon opening I was delighted with the nice presentation in this wrapped up basket - but it was much tinier than I expected. It 'appears' larger on the site. That said, what a lovely selection of perfectly made foods with careful minimal details. This is a great price for a nice selection of foods so do overlook the tiny stature! Actually the little pieces are perfect for a 22 month old's hands. My first order from Oompa and I am very pleased!

Perfect Haba starter set [121 OF 241 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
I just recently discovered Haba's wooden food and this was the perfect starter set. It gives a nice selection of fruits, vegetables, breads, and other miscellaneous items. As others have stated, the quality of the food itself is far superior to other wooden food. The small size increases how many pieces the kids play with at a time. My girls' favorite piece from this set is the little milk bottle. They use it for tea parties and also as a bottle to feed their animals and dolls. The cheese slices are also very popular. I feel like it gave us a great foundation to build on and figure out what to order more of. It's also much more cost effective than buying the pieces separately and the basket is a nice bonus (popular for shopping trips).

My daughter and son spend so much time cooking things up in the kitchen and strolling their shopping cart around the house. I was a little surprised by the size of this item, upon opening the box, but quickly realized that this basket of food is the perfect addition to their kitchen set, and the size of the food items is perfect for little hands to hold. It is beautifully made to last and provide years of enjoyment.
