Wonderful bedtime toy. [75 OF 177 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
Our 2 1/2 year old son loves this book. Actually, he loves the bear. He isn't into stuffed animals, but Teddy is a big hit. He hasn't really gotten into the game aspect yet, but he loves dressing teddy in his PJs, brushing teddy's teeth, washing teddy's face, and putting him to bed in his hammock. It has become a regular part of our bedtime ritual, and the book stays out all night on our son's nightstand. The bear is really cute. I wish Haba would make other playsets to go with the bear.

Great concept but didn't meet expectations. [102 OF 197 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
Initially I liked the concept of this book. Furthermore, it had good reviews. However, upon receipt of the book, the concept didn't quite meet my expectations. Firstly, the book is made of very thick card board (approx. 0.25cm thick each page)which is not the problem. It is the spiral bounding of the book. It makes turning these thick pages and closure of the book cumbersome. If I had difficulty turning the pages, my daughter would struggle even more. Also, there is a clear plastic pocket velcro'd on the inside panel of the first page that houses the wooden bear, tooth brush, etc. I can see us losing these pieces around the house when my daughter reads the book. Therefore I am returning the book and exchanging for something else. The book itself is very cute, just not practical for us.

What's not to love about this book? [173 OF 333 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
This is a great book/game that your child will grow into. Our son loves the textures, fun illustrations and the way the book becomes 3 dimensional. He's enthusiastic about brushing Teddy's teeth, which has helped him settle down about brushing his own teeth. He hasn't gotten into the game aspect of this toy, yet. I'll update in a few months!

Our toddler just started sleeping in a "big boy bed" in his own room. He was a little worried so I was looking for something to help him out. He loved reading the book and helping Teddy get ready for bed. The book stays set up as Teddy's room on his nightstand and he puts Teddy to bed when he goes to bed. In the morning he says "OK Teddy wake up now." We love how durable it is and how cute too, but the thing we love the most is the reassurance it provides our son with.
