We got these colorful blocks for our three year old son. He loved them as soon as he opened them. He loves looking through the colored water and placing different colors on tops of each other to "mix" colors.

These beautiful blocks are hefty and well made, they even make a great sound when they are banged together. I'm not sure who likes them more, me or my son! They are fun to look through and color the room with blue, red, or yellow (or a combo!) It is also great to "mix" the colors against a light source to show how yellow and blue make green, etc. They balance in unexpected and creative ways, even incorporating movement with the arches rocking back and forth. Fantastic toy!!

These blocks are absolutely beautiful and one of my daughter's (as well as my) favorite things. I keep them in the living room bookshelf when she is not playing with them since I want to show them off! She loves putting the square blocks in front of her face and labeling everything she sees 'blau' or 'rot'. Definitely a hit with children under 3 as well.

Easy to Hold and Stack for Budding Builders [38 OF 81 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
My daughter isn't into blocks very often but with these water blocks, they are easy for her to hold and big and heavy enough for her to balance them on top of each other. Frustration averted! She likes to stack these blocks and only these blocks.

I fist saw these blocks at our local Children�s Museum. Several of the kids looked like they were having a good time with them, so I tried to find them for my daughter�s second birthday. She and her older sister (age 5) have both really enjoyed the blocks. I just thought they would use these along with their other Haba blocks to builds and stack, but my girls use these large blocks to make colorful �houses� for their Animalz toys. The blocks are large, sturdy and well made. It would be nice if they could make some additional shapes and at a smaller scale if possible.
