Great Way To Spend Time Together

These sturdy, colorful cards are so versatile and allow for open-ended fun! I thought that these would be perfect for my 5y.o. daughter after I noticed her making up stories to accompany the pictures in a coloring book. We like to take turns adding to the narrative, which results in ridiculously funny stories. Melissa Sweet's soft and gentle illustrations are great. We've yet to take these along on an extended car trip, but I think they'll stand up well to the rigors of Interstate holiday travel (gulp).

My 4-year-old daughter loves the whimsical illustrations. Each card is so detailed and lovely that they really engage her to study them well to create her scenarios.
