These are cute, but my little one lost interest in them pretty quickly. The blocks have now become integrated with our regular blocks are are no longer used with the pegs.

We have had these blocks for about a year now and they have seen a lot of rough play during that time. Despite being thrown, knocked down, etc, they look as good as new. The paint seems unchippable! It has been a pretty versatile toy, my children (4 and 1.5) enjoy putting them on the pegs as well as stacking them independent of the pegs. We have even made villages by making multiple houses out of the blocks and then using the princess, knight and dragon as the village inhabitants. A favorite toy and well worth the price, even though it may seem steep at first.

My grandsons, ages 3 and 1, have had these blocks since Christmas 2007. These blocks have been stepped on, thrown, and chewed on, but still look like new. The colors are glossy and bright with plenty of detail which keeps them interesting for little ones (they're fun for grown-ups, too!). One little problem...after months of rough play, one of dowels fell out but was easily fixed with a little glue. Overall, an excellent value for the money. I will definitely buy this again for the next round of grandchildren.

We gave this to our youngest on his 2nd birthday. He loves it. Very well made & so many different combinations for stacking the various blocks. Each block has a design on all sides, so there are endless options for the designs your child can make, depending on which way he or she decides to have the block turned. Our 5 year old even likes playing with it.
Another quality toy from HABA.

fun and playful, our 19 month old loves them. she discarded the stand and just uses the blocks to build independantly and has integrated them into her other haba blocks. i would likely recommend these for younger kiddos, just cause the stand is a bit more useful for them!
