fun, but will it last?

My son received one of these for his birthday. He's played with it for a couple of days straight, but I have to wonder how long the fun will last. After all, this toy is basically a one-trick pony. That said, it's well made. Maybe my little guy will come up with a novel use for it once launching marbles gets old?

Fun Flying Marbles...

This set lets marbles to gain speed and swoop down very fast to go leaping off. My kids like to find ways to catch the marbles at the end or finding just where the marble will land using a target. You can also rearrange the elements of this set using the "dip" piece to show the impulse effect (where a marble hits a line of several others at the back, making the first one in the row fly off). It's a great action and speed type of add-on, with components that can be used creatively throughout a marble track.
