Lukas is a 12 inch Haba doll with brownish chenille hair, he wears a knit blue and green striped coverall, a blue fuzzy vest, and velcro shoes (we have Haba’s Lotta doll and this shoe design is much better), and comes with little toy mouse rattle which my daughter fell in love with (it’s a doll-sized Haba soft baby toy and seems as well made as their real ones). Lukas is very well made with all of the little details that you expect from a Haba doll—he has a belly button under his coverall and his mouth and eyes are stitched on and not just printed. Also, like other Haba fabric items, all of the patterns and materials work together nicely without being too matchy. I haven’t washed Lukas yet and we haven’t had him long, but I have washed our Lotta doll and we’ve had her for 2 years, so I expect Lukas to stand up well to wear and tear (even if he belongs to a rough and tumble toddler).

Lukas is a great choice if you are looking for a boy doll or if you have other Haba 12-13 inch dolls. I hadn’t really realized how much smaller they are compared to the 15 inch Haba dolls. My daughter plays with her Lotta all the time and when Lukas came she was excited and said he was going to be Lotta’s best friend. She ran to introduce them, but when she got them next to each other, she hesitated. Lukas is much smaller (he comes to Lotta’s shoulder). If you have a 15 inch Haba doll and are looking for a friend for it, Lukas isn’t the best choice. But, if you’re looking for a younger sibling doll, especially a little brother, he is perfect.

I got Lucas for my son's first birthday. We have lots of Haba toys, but I was especially impressed with the quality of this doll. The little embroidered face is just perfect and the heft makes Lucas a nice alternative to plastic dolls.

I bought Lukas for my son's first birthday and upon opening it discovered that the mouse was missing:(. When I contacted oompa they responded right away and Haba sent me a mouse within a week. My son loves to play with Lukas and his mouse. Great quality!

This doll is not only adorable, but also very sturdy. My baby mainly likes to chew on the doll's face right now, but the fabric stays intact, despite numerous sharp teeth. He also likes to play with the doll's hair, as it is a fun texture: fuzzy and in strands. The mouse that came along with Lucas is currently very popular; my baby loves to shake it to hear him rattle and he loves to spin him around by the tail.

My daughter is not really into the doll yet! She has a couple of these. The mouse is a hit already! She plays with the little mouse constantly. We also have added to her mouse collection by buying a couple more Haba mice to go with it!!!
