I have to say that I do not find this push car sturdy at all. My husband is German and we are very familiar with all German toys and this toy is not up to German standards in our opinion. We have twins (1 boy, 1 girl) who are now 18 months old. For a child just walking or even a child who has been walking for awhile if you put any weight at all on the handlebars it topples backwards - the front wheels come off the ground. I have very active toddlers who are very agile and like to climb on things. My children are constantly getting hurt with this car either by having the car fall backward on them or when they are climbing into it. I understand that they are not supposed to climb in it but it's not safe to turn your back even for a second when they are near this car. I have put this in the garage for now. I would not recommend this car as it's just not balanced well in my opinion - it topples too easily.

I love this car and my son does too! We put a water jug in the front seat to prevent the bar from falling back on my son. This I feel makes this car safe. I don't feel it is safe without it cause if he pulls on the bar he will hurt himself. A must have!

Both of my daughters have used this as their "walker". This was an excellent investment. Haba is wonderful!

My son loves this push car and has been using it since he was 11 months and just starting to walk. It does not tip when he pulls himself up by the handle. I also like that it moves at a moderate pace good for early walkers and older kids.

My husband and me purchased the Haba pushing car for my son's first birthday. He loves it, whether to push it inside or outside, load it with his toys, climb in and out or get a ride. It's beautiful and excellent quality, a toy to last generations!
