Our Ladybug Shape sorter is full of fun and learning. First, match the natural wooden pegs to their corresponding spot on the ladybug's back. Then, sort out the eight rings, each with a different cut out shape, onto the four pegs. Toddlers learn square, triangle, hexagon, and star as they stack the correct shape into the corresponding peg. The rings are also color coordinated. For example, the triangle rings are light and dark green while the square rings are light and dark pink. Finally, finish by adding the ladybugs eyes! For added fun, the base of the lady bug is slightly rounded, causing it to tilt when pieces are not added symmetrically! Wood for this toy comes from an FSC-managed forest accented with water-based paint and is made to meet the strictest of safety standards.
