Heavy, not for young babies.

These are cute, but heavy and clunky. They are really hard for a young child to stack, and my daughter doesn't get much use out of them. We both prefer the set of lightweight, cardboard stacking blocks we have. They are not as durable, but much more functional. There is nowhere to store the included shapes once the blocks are nested in eachother, and they are not as easy to manipulate as the lighter ones. I wouldn't recommend it for a child under 18 months.
