My son got this from Santa to go along with his Kitchen. It is really well made and super fun. We make real banana bread together once a week but now my 20 month old son likes to pull out his mixer and make his own whenever he likes.

I can't say enough about what a well-made toy the Mighty Mixer is! I was impressed from the moment I opened the box. You can feel the quality and durability of the materials immediately. Hape Toys was very smart in the design of this toy. It's not overly decorated, but the bright colors are quite attractive. My daughter can't get enough of it! She's only 2 1/2, but she immediately figured out how to turn the knob on top to spin the beater. She didn't realize at first that the arm of the mixer could be raised to easily remove the bowl. Thanks to the intelligent designers at Hape Toys, it didn't matter! The beater "blades" are attached to the spindle with a sturdy elastic cord, allowing it to bend out of the way without damaging the toy at all. But the best part of all? Seeing the proud smile on my daughter's face as she "cooked" with her mixer while I used mine!
