Your little musician will love pulling his rolling xylophone all over the house! A sturdy wooden base holds eight metal notes. Tap them with the included mallet to make some music! Colorful, modern style means this musical instrument will look great in any play room. Incorporating music into playtime is an important part of development and allows children to explore their musical interests at a young age. Parents are certain to appreciate the thin line of rubber on the wheels which prevents scratching of floors. This fun xylophone was designed in France by Janod.

Surprise Favorite - Well Made, Enduring Toy
Mindy F from Iowa City, IA
This toy proved to be the surprise favorite of our order! I fell in love with it the minute we removed it from the box. The Xylophone is an old fashioned style toy and wonderful in its simplicity. No batteries necessary here. This beautiful, colorful instrument and pull toy has provided my toddler with hours of entertainment (and my bigger kids fight for a turn too!)
I love the details of this gorgeous toy. The lovely, natural wood is a striking contrast with the bold colors of the eight metal keys. The wheels have a thin line of rubber to keep them from scratching toys or hurting anyone's ears. Also, the weight of the body is just right, preventing it from tipping off balance as many of our pull toys often do.
It might have been a fluke, but our toy came with two sticks, making potentially a toy for two. The baby wasn't inclined to share, but his siblings certainly tried for their turn. He loved banging on the keys, as well as pulling the toy all around the house, even experimenting with how it would survive the stairs (it did). When he would share, it provided a fun way for the older kids to interact and play with their younger brother.
I really don't have any complaints about this toy. $35 is definitely a higher end price for a toddler toy in my book, but this toy will endure. We have another xylophone with a plastic base and it does not compare to this well-made version. I think this is a toy you buy for your little ones, your kids enjoy, and then you pull it out for your grandkids one day.
