This is a great little set. My daughter (2.5 yo) really enjoys the colors and has fun putting the bees in and out of their "homes". The bee hive cups and pincer is scaled to a size that is perfect for her little hands. I really love the quality of the set and know that it will last until my now 10 month old son is old enough to play with it. I would have to say the only con to this item is that it doesn't have any thing to keep all the pieces together besides the box it comes in...that is the only reason I rated it a 4. As a side note, we really have to watch my 10 month old around the bees because they are small enough to choke on. But, it is a good toy for when he naps and my older daughter needs to be occupied or when we play with her. It really captures her attention and keeps her busy for quite some time! She loves it!

This is one of the cutest ideas for a game I ever saw! My three kids, all under five, love to pluck the bees from their hives and place them in new homes. We use other block sets to build elaborate bock towers to hide the beehives in and the kids have a great time hunting for them. The bees are durable too, their wings are well attached and the tweezers are big and chunky, perfect for little hands that are learning coordination.
