This set has been one of my favorite toys to use with my kids! It is a cute set that has different sounds coming from each tambourine. They are a great size for little hands and durable to be dropped, shaked, and pounded on to make all kinds of noises. I did think that they would be a little bigger, but it is probably better they are on the small size since my kids are younger. It has shown my 2.5 yo to share a shaker with each of us, she will hand out one to my husband, my son (10 months) and I, and then we will sing songs and make our own fresh beats, fast and slow. All of us participate, laugh, sing and dance and we made up a family band name,,,"The Hazel Freaks". So, along with the sharing it is a good way to incorporate music and recognizing patterns in beats and different sounds into their brains. The set also came with a little stand to keep the shakers on which is great for storage and display. I would recommend this toy for all ages. It is a lot of fun!
