Parking Garage

My almost 3 year old loves playing with the garage along with the deluxe roadway. The elevator is a big hit as it carries cars up and down the garage. Matchbox type cars can also be used with the garage, but some will not fit correctly in the elevator.

My daughter was given this toy along with 3 cars and a helicopter. She loves playing with cars and she loves this toy. When she looks at the toy she says "wow"t. Unfortunately, a part of the toy broke after 1 week. This was my fault for allowing my daughter to sit on it. She sat on it and broke off part of the ramp. I think I can glue it back together. Great toy, just can't sit on it.

Plan toys is a wonderful, very “green” company that makes solid, well-crafted toys, and this garage is certainly no exception. The toy itself is wonderfully made, as are all of the vehicles from PlanCity that we have. The cars glide, rather than roll on the “roads” of this garage: it is so well-engineered that even my husband loves to see how easily and fluidly the cars can move (just an excuse to play with it perhaps?). The vehicles can go into the little elevator from either side, and once the arms are closed to keep them from rolling out, you can turn the knob at the top of the garage to raise or lower the elevator easily. The inner workings of the elevator consist of a hook or two and a small string, so no batteries to replace, no parts to break – brilliant! There are no rough spots, sharp pieces, etc. My 4 year old LOVES the Plan vehicles, and this garage from the “PlanCity” line is a great accessory to those vehicles. He gets a lot of use out of this set, and doesn’t show signs of growing out of it anytime soon. Highly recommend.
