perfect for restaurants!

We take this whenever we go out to eat. It' a great way for a child to entertain him/herself while waiting for the food to arrive. It rolls reasonably compactly, and my little one loves that it's his special drawing mat for when we're out.

Great for travel!

I bought this on sale for less than $10.00 and I'm sure I wouldn't have gotten it at full price. My daughter really loves it and we bring it along with us on every trip we go on. It does make a mess, but it's chalk, and she's a toddler, so I expect it. The eraser is not very good and ours ripped, but you can put whatever you want for chalk in the pouch when you run out. It is easily wiped clean and dries fairly quickly. It really is perfect for travel and we have been practicing our letters with it frequently.
