I could not resist buying these for my little girl, and am so glad I did! They are a little expensive, so it was a splurge for a baby toy, but I was blown away by the cuteness of these! I didn't think my baby would care about playing with them since she wasn't really into rattles at the time, but she shocked me by playing with them a lot! I liked these when she was very young because they didn't hurt (like her wooden rattles) when she hit herself with them. They are very baby-friendly. I never tried washing them, but I think I will, because the light purple one looks a little dirty now. You won't be disappointed with these!!
