1. Crayon Hearts
This tutorial from Whipperberry is a great way to use your collection of broken crayons and make them into new works of art to gift to little ones. This tutorial uses a heart mold but you can use any molds you already have at home.

2. Heart Garlands
Use existing paper around the house (wrapping paper, newspaper or craft paper) to cut out heart shapes and string them together to create sweet and festive holiday decor. This tutorial from Crafting a Green World requires a needle and thread. If you're trying this craft with young children, use a hole punch in each heart and let children string it by hand.

3. Love Bugs
Use empty toilet paper rolls to create to create these buzzworthy Valentine's. The Resourceful Mama's tutorial uses craft paper, paint and pipe cleaners for, but you can be as creative as as you'd like when making your own little love bugs.

4. Thumb Heart Jars
Before your jam jars go into the recycling bin, clean them out and make these sweet thumbprint votives from It All Started With Paint. All you need is red, white and pink paint and some willing thumbs to create these heart-patterned jars to fill with candy or use as a votive holder.
