With its timpani-like shape and cheerful geometric patterns, the Solid Wood Drum from PlanToys is a perfect introduction to the world of music.
With tuned areas on the drum surface that make different sounds, the drum provides an introduction to percussion music and rhythm for young children, giving them a vehicle to improve their spatial sense and fine motor control as they play.
The drumstick is sized to fit little hands, and the head has been coated in rubber to soften the sound of the drum.

- MATERIALS : Made from clean, natural, chemical-free, kiln-dried rubberwood accented with non-toxic water-based dyes. Drum stick is tipped in natural rubber.
- INCLUDES : Solid wooden drum and wooden drumstick
- CARE : Use a cloth dampened with warm water. You may use a small amount of vinegar essence mix combined with water. This works extremely well in destroying bacteria and cleaning wooden toys. Do not submerge in water or place in dishwasher. Disinfectants (even organic baby wipes) should not be used as they can damage the water based coatings that protect the colorful stains beneath.
