German toymaker, Grimm's Spiel & Holz created these rainbow-colored wooden Leonardo Building Sticks - Da Vinci's Bridge, inspired by the master Renaissance man himself.
Leonardo da Vinci may be most widely known for masterpieces like the Mona Lisa, but he was also an artist fascinated with architecture and science. One of his many architectural designs was the self-supporting bridge, which can be built without the need for ropes or fasteners, held together only by pieces of wood.
This set helps children use both logic and patience to recreate da Vinci's simple yet structurally sound design. It is a perfect way to introduce physics to children in a fun and accessible way.
Leonardo Sticks store neatly in the included wooden box. Building the bridge or dome design is a great solo activity for children as well as a cooperative team-building activity.
Set comes with instructions to build an arched bridge or a dome using only the sticks and nothing else. Younger children can enjoy this set long before they can follow the instructions and simply build their own structures with the colorful sticks, which combine well with other Grimm's blocks.

- CARE : Use a cloth dampened with warm water. You may use a small amount of vinegar essence mix combined with water. This works extremely well in destroying bacteria and cleaning wooden toys. Do not submerge in water or place in dishwasher. Disinfectants (even organic baby wipes) should not be used as they can damage the water based coatings that protect the colorful stains beneath.
